Sassy, spunky, sparkly, spirited,
are just a few words that come to mind when I think of Anna.
She's been this way since the day that she was born. I've always been intrigued by people that just have "it"-whatever "it" is. You know, the people that walk into a situation full of confidence and presence. Not the arrogant kind, not the "I'm better than you kind", no, the kind that you can't quite put your finger on. The kind that exude happiness, the kind that light up a room, the kind that can bring anyone and everyone to tears with their incredible sense of humor. The kind that everyone knows wherever they go, the kind that really, truly, light up the world.
This is definitely not how I would describe myself and while I do love being me,
I love being me,
loving her.

She's 7 going on 17. Look out world, and pray for me and Erik!
That's the sass.
She's not afraid to be who she is, she dances like no one's watching, but loves that everyone does. That's the spunk.
Whether it's jewelry, glitter in her artwork, or a pair of new shoes, she loves anything that glistens. That's the sparkly.
The love she has for people, animals, God, her "move mountains" attitude, it's strong and unique to her.
That's the spirited.
Sometimes, she's stubborn.
Enough said.
All of these things and more, make up the Anna Elizabeth that we brought into this world by the grace of God on April 28, 2008.

Anna: A cheetah.
Me: What do you think about Murray?
Anna: He's the funnest puppy I've ever known. (Coincidentally, Anna and Murray share a birthday!)

Anna: Writers Workshop.
Me: What would you like for your birthday?
Anna: My ears pierced.
Me: What is your favorite song?
Anna: Blank Space by Taylor Swift. (Sassy, Spunky, Sparkly, Spirited...yep, I mentioned those already!)
Me: What is your favorite movie?
Anna: Home.
Me: What do you think you might like to be when you grow up?
Anna: An Olympic Swimmer.
