i love this time of year

 Time is fleeting...

far more than I would like it. 

Every day of waking, every day of a new chance at life, of doing things just a little better than the day before, is such a gift. 

I must admit that I love the summer time out of every season, but if I had to pick the next best, it would be 

Christmas.

I love this time of year.

There's something about it, that makes me so happy...

or maybe...

it's just them.

i heart faces {feet}

I recently took pictures of Baby "D" for good friends of mine. 

He's around one month old here and is also my godson.

I was sitting on the floor waiting for him to be burped by his mom and couldn't resist his cute little toes.

This would be the only time feet are ever cute!

getting back to "normal"

It's amazing how quickly a baby will heal...

slowly, but surely, she's healing and we're getting back to "normal".
